LOAN OFFICER

AgCarolina Financial with headquarters in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a loan officer.  Responsibilities will include selling loans and related services to farmers, rural residents, and agribusinesses, analyzing and processing credit applications, conducting public relations and other activities related to the effective operation of the branch office.  Qualifications include:  Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or related field.  Knowledge of agriculture within the Southeastern United States.  One or more years experience in sales, finance, or related occupation is desirable, but not required. CROP INSURANCE SPECIALIST- AGCAROLINA FINANCIAL

Responsible for Multi-Peril and Crop Hail Insurance sales.  Specialist will work with a $1 billion Association with 12 branches covering 34 counties in eastern North Carolina.  Responsibilities are to market, sell and service Multi-Peril and Crop Hail insurance products.  Will sell and service policies for both current customers and new prospects through referrals from other staff, and actively soliciting new business relationships.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other agriculturally related field.  Must have P&C License to sell these insurance products.  3-5 years of crop insurance experience and outside selling experience required.  Excellent oral and written communication skills required.  Must be assertive and decisive in making sound business decisions.  Current awareness of economic developments affecting agriculture and crop insurance in the area served.  Travel required.  Compensation package is negotiable.

MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR- AGCAROLINA FINANCIAL

This individual will play a key role in our growing Mortgage Loan Department.  Responsibilities will include business development, marketing, and originating home mortgage loans.  Individual should have a through knowledge of the home mortgage industry and mortgage lending programs to include desktop underwriting, documentation, regulations, and the secondary market.  Individual should be a self-starter, team oriented, assertive, with the ability to arrive at sound business decisions.  Individual should possess good organizational and analytical skills with knowledge of computers and related software.  Bachelor’s Degree with 3 to 5 years mortgage lending experience is required.  Travel required.  Compensation package is negotiable.
