Rural Community Investments

Through our Rural Community Investments Program, we partner with businesses, economic development agencies, public officials, community leaders, and others to finance projects that enhance the quality of life in rural America.

Under the Rural Community Investments program, AgCarolina Financial can purchase bonds issued by for-profit businesses and not-for-profit organizations.  We have developed standardized documentation to minimize the cost of bond issuance, making it an economically feasible option for your project.

Projects can be public or private, but must be located in rural communities (population under 50,000).  Some Examples include:

  • Rural business facilities
  • Industrial development parks
  • Processing or manufacturing facilities
  • Infrastructure
  • Medical Facilities
  • Independent or assisted living facilities
  • Schools
  • Libraries
  • Community buildings
  • Municipal, township or county facilities
  • Low to moderate income housing
  • Agribusiness facilities or major equipment purchases
  • Renewable energy
