Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

UPDATED: 4/9/2020

Latest updates from AgCarolina Farm Credit regarding response to the Coronavirus.

Dear Member:

The impact of COVID-19 has caused many changes in our daily lives over the past few weeks, and we continue our commitment of serving the needs of agriculture and rural residents.  Employees are working remotely, children are being homeschooled, some grocery store shelves are empty, our travels and social interactions are limited, and farmers are still farming.  As we navigate these unchartered waters, our goal is to continue to provide exceptional service while balancing the safety and wellness of you and our employees.  We will continue to be here when you need us most.

STEPS FOR SAFETY

  • We have increased the frequency of our office cleaning and sanitizing.
  • To enhance social distancing, many employees are working remotely.
  • Our branch offices have limited staff but stand ready to continue to assist you.
  • We encourage members to make an appointment if you need to visit the office.  These appointments will help us limit only one member in the office at one time.  When the member leaves, the office will be sanitized as an added safety precaution.

While we remain open, we are also leveraging flexibilities afforded by our cooperative structure, financial strength, knowledge of agriculture, and our desire to help our members in times of stress.  Below you will find ways we can help members negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

WAYS WE CAN HELP

  • Extending the terms of loan repayments
  • Restructuring members’ debt obligations
  • Payment deferments for up to three months
  • Working with members to understand potential shifts in their situations due to COVID-19 and finding solutions that best fit their individual needs
  • Providing 24/7 online access to member accounts via AccountAccess  or through our AgCarolina Farm Credit Mobile app.

AgCarolina Farm Credit stands ready to assist as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times together.  Contact your local loan officer if we can be of assistance or reach us at 800.951.FARM.  We appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,

Dear Member,

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to evolve, we are enhancing our social distancing practices to ensure we protect the health and safety of you, your families, our employees, and our communities.  While our offices remain open, the following changes will be effective on March 25.

Our branch employees will work on a rotating schedule to limit the number of employees in the office.

  • Members are encouraged to schedule appointments with branch employees. Only one member will be allowed in the office at the time. When the member leaves, the office will be sanitized before allowing another member to enter.
  • If you or any member of your household are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not access the office.

Please take advantage of AccountAccess, our online banking platform or call your local branch for assistance.

Our highest priority is the welfare of our members, our AgCarolina team, and the communities in which we live and work. We’ll get through this together.

Thank you and stay safe,

AgCarolina Farm Credit

Coronavirus update: How AgCarolina Farm Credit will continue to serve you

UPDATED 3/13/2020

AgCarolina Farm Credit would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the steps we’re taking to keep our members and employees safe, and our systems and services running, in response to the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

To our valued members and friends,

AgCarolina Farm Credit would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the steps we’re taking to keep our members and employees safe, and our systems and services running, in response to the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are reviewing our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan, which includes a comprehensive response that follows guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local health agencies in the areas we serve. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that we have a dynamic and appropriate response to the risk caused from this virus.

While the following is not a comprehensive list, our plan calls for:

  • Increasing our supplies of disinfecting products, and implementing enhanced sanitizing and cleaning protocols at all of our branch locations.
  • Keeping our products and services fully available to you.
  • Supporting our members and employees that are at-risk or have special needs.
  • Monitoring the financial markets and discussing options for members to meet their changing financial needs.
  • Limiting business-related employee air travel until further notice and using teleconference capabilities instead.
  • Modifying, postponing or cancelling large meetings.
  • Enhancing our risk monitoring and management protocols.

During this time of stress and uncertainty, we want to make sure you have access to all the financial services we offer. Be assured that you can access your accounts and services without needing to visit a branch by using our digital banking platform AccountAccess or by calling us at 800.951.3276 for assistance.

You can find the latest information on the coronavirus and how to limit your risk of infection by calling the CDC hotline at 1.800.232-4636 or by visiting www.cdc.gov/covid19.

As always, our highest priorities are the health and safety of our member-borrowers and employees, as well as the communities we serve. If there’s anything that we can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your loan officer.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Remember: We’re in this together.

Sincerely,

David W. Corum
President and Chief Executive Officer
