Member Information

As a lending cooperative, AgCarolina Farm Credit is owned by its member-stockholders (eligible customers who have loans with us). These member-stockholders participate in electing our Board of Directors and Nominating Committee. The Board of Directors establish our policies and make important decisions about our organization. The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and nominating suitable candidates for each open Stockholder-Elected Director and nominating committee position. An annual stockholders' meeting is held each year, followed by the voting process conducted by mail ballot.

2024 AgCarolina Farm Credit Annual Stockholders' Meeting 

The upcoming 2024 Annual Stockholders' Meeting will be held on October 23, 2024 at the Greenville Administrative Office located at 636 Rock Spring Road, Greenville, NC 27834. The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to finalize the nominees for the Stockholder-Elected Director and Nominating Committee positions, and transact any other necessary business. The election of the Stockholder-Elected Directors and Nominating Committee will be conducted by ballots mailed to eligible voting stockholders following the Annual Meeting. Online voting will also be available, and instructions will be included in the ballot packages. 

All Stockholder-Elected Director positions hold a four-year term. In order to stand for election to a Stockholder-Elected Director position, the candidate must be a holder or joint holder of Class C Common Stock of the Association, and be a resident of or have the candidate's farm operations headquartered in the Nominating Region corresponding to such position. In the case of At-Large positions, the candidate must be a resident of or have the candidate's farm operations headquartered anywhere within the Association's 46-county territory. An individual is deemed to reside where the individual maintains his or her primary residence. 

For the 2024 election cycle, the following Stockholder-Elected Director positions are up for election.

Region 4 - Director Seat (4-year term)Brunswick, Columbus, Robeson, and New Hanover Counties
Region 8 - Director Seat (4-year term)Duplin, Jones, and Lenoir Counties
Region 9 - Director Seat (4-year term)Greene, Johnston, and Wayne Counties

All Nominating Committee members are elected for a one-year term. In order to stand for election to the Nominating Committee, the candidate must be a holder or joint holder of Class C Common Stock of the Assocaition, and be a resident of or have the candidate's farm operations headquartered in the Nominating Region corresponding to such position. In the case of At-Large positions, the candidate must be a resident of or have the candidate's farm operations headquartered anywhere within the Association's 46-county territory. An individual is deemed to reside where the individual maintains his or her primary residence. 

For the 2024 election cycle, the Associations eligible voting stockholders will elect Nominating Committee members to serve each of the 10 Regions plus two At-Large positions.
