The Pull for Youth events are another way that AgCarolina Farm Credit gives back to the future of agriculture throughout North Carolina. In partnership with AgSouth Farm Credit, over $750,000 has been raised through the first seven years of Pull for Youth events for NC 4-H and NC FFA.
This year, the 2024 Pull for Youth funds will be distributed to local 4-H and FFA chapters through a Pull for Youth grant program. The 4-H or FFA chapter must be located within the AgCarolina Farm Credit territory and maximum awards will be $1,000 per local chapter.
The grant application will open in November and close once all funds are distributed. All applications will be reviewed by the Pull for Youth committee and if awarded, funds will be distributed by December 31, 2024.
If awarded, the local NC 4-H or FFA chapter will be contacted by an AgCarolina Farm Credit team member. At that time, a check presentation with photo request will be coordinated.
