AgCarolina Farm Credit and Cape Fear Farm Credit announce Young, Beginning, and Small Farmer Conference

Cape Fear Farm Credit and AgCarolina Farm Credit announce their Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Conference to be held on Thursday, October 20. Join Cape Fear Farm Credit and AgCarolina Farm Credit for a free, one day conference filled with keynote speakers, which includes Rob Sharkey and Michelle Miller. Cape Fear Farm Credit and AgCarolina Farm Credit understand the unique needs of young, beginning and small farmers and are excited to host this knowledgeable event. The Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Conference will take place at Cape Fear Winery, located at 195 Vineyard Drive, Elizabethton, NC 28337. Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Conference Speakers and Breakout Sessions

Rob Sharkey, also known as the Shark Farmer, will launch the Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Conference with his keynote, “Sharks Don’t Swim Backwards” highlighting his experiences as a grain farmer and success as a businessman.

Followed by breakout sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to select between several robust small group opportunities including, “Mrs. SharkFarmer-bringing value to your farm”, “Unboxing the Future - Getting beyond the labels”, “The Art of Listening- an interactive breakout session with the SharkFarmer”, and “Farm School on Wheels - Financial Planning for Your Business”. Michelle Miller, also known as The Farm Babe, will deliver her keynote to close the Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Conference. “Bridging the Gap between Farmers and Consumers” will touch on her farming roots and bring real, unbiased education and facts from real farmers and leading industry experts.

Reservations
