AgCarolina Farm Credit Announces $42 Million Patronage Distribution to Members on March 26, 2026
AgCarolina Farm Credit is pleased to announce that its 2025 patronage distribution—totaling $42 million in all‑cash refunds—will be returned to members on March 26, 2026. This distribution is paid directly to member‑borrowers, underscoring the Association’s strong financial performance and its commitment to returning value to the agricultural communities it proudly serves.
As a local lending cooperative, AgCarolina Farm Credit takes pride in sharing its success. Each year, the member‑elected Board of Directors reviews the Association’s financial results and determines how much of the earnings will be returned to members across its 46‑county service area and 20 branch offices.
“Sharing our profits with members effectively lowers their cost of borrowing,” said Evan Kleinhans, CEO of AgCarolina Farm Credit. “This year’s patronage refund represents an average interest rate reduction of approximately 1.54% for our members. It clearly illustrates the financial advantages of doing business with a local lending cooperative.”
Kleinhans added, “We sincerely appreciate our members for choosing AgCarolina as their trusted lending partner. Your continued support enables us to provide meaningful financial benefits, including strong patronage distributions, year after year.”
