Local farmers graduate from educational Ag Biz program offered by AgCarolina Farm Credit.
Greenville, NC – June 15, 2026 – AgCarolina Farm Credit recently recognized participants for successful completion from the 2025–2026 Ag Biz educational program. This program is an online learning opportunity that focus on financial and business planning, budgeting, and other essential farm management topics critical to long-term success. Throughout the program, each participant is paired with an AgCarolina Farm Credit loan officer as their mentor, who provides guidance and support.
The Ag Biz program is designed for young, beginning, and small farmers and is offered in two tracks: Ag Biz Basics and Ag Biz Planner. Ag Biz Basics is tailored for individuals who are starting or in the early stages of a farming operation, while Ag Biz Planner is intended for those already involved in agriculture as primary decision-makers or key influencers within an operation.
Participants in both tracks completed a series of online modules and attended an in-person conference in Greenville, North Carolina. During the conference, participants had the opportunity to network with fellow farmers from across five states, learn from a variety of industry speakers and tour a local farm.
This year’s Ag Biz cohort represented a diverse range of agricultural operations, including swine, poultry, honey, vegetables, flowers, cattle, egg production, and more.
