AGCAROLINA FARM CREDIT THANKS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ANNOUNCES ELECTION RESULTS
Greenville, NC – AgCarolina Farm Credit recently completed the 2025 Director and Nominating Committee election. An independent third party tabulated the ballots, and the results have been certified and provided to the Association. We appreciate the participation of AgCarolina voting stockholders to help strengthen our cooperative. Each of the elected directors will serve a four-year term beginning January 1, 2026.
Nash Johnson II is a swine, poultry, timber and row crop farmer from Sampson County re-elected for Region 3 (Sampson). Johnson serves as the Board chair for AgCarolina Farm Credit Board of Directors and on the Governance Committee.
Derek Potter is a row crop farmer from Pamlico County re-elected for region 10 (Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender and Pitt Counties). Potter serves on the AgCarolina Farm Credit Audit and Governance Committee, United Soybean Board and NC Soybean Board amongst several other local organizations.
Audie Murphy is a row crop, turkey, peanuts and sweet potato farmer from Greene County re-elected for an at-large board seat. Murphy serves as vice-chair of AgCarolina Farm Credit Board of Directors, on the Compensation Committee and Governance Committee.
AgCarolina Farm Credit also recognized Gary Rouse, an outside director, for his conclusion of service on the board of directors after many years. We are grateful for the dedication and service that Mr. Rouse provided to our Association.
Additionally, each year our stockholders vote on representation for the nominating committee who is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and nominating candidates for election to the board of directors. The following is a list of the persons elected to serve a one-year term on next year’s nominating committee.
