Growing Resilience: Supporting Mental Health in Agriculture

Mental Health Awareness Month highlights the importance of supporting the people who make agriculture possible.

Long hours, unpredictable seasons, and financial pressures can take a toll on farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. At AgCarolina Farm Credit, we’re committed to supporting both our members and employees with resources that promote mental wellness, resilience, and connection.

We understand that access to support can look different in rural communities, which is why we offer resources designed with agriculture in mind:

Rural Resilience

A free online training that helps individuals recognize stress, improve communication, and connect with support.

Member Assistance Program

Farm Credit Knowledge Center AgHub

NC Agromedicine Institute

At this year's Southern Farm Show, we partnered with our friends at the NC Agromedicine Institute to present a Farm Show Theatre on "Farming with Family". Watch the recording here to gain practical tools for navigating conflict and conversation starters to keep your farm and family thriving.

Healthy farms and strong rural communities start with healthy people, and no one should have to navigate difficult seasons alone. We're here for you.
